Who we are
Pulse is a system and network toolkit for iOS developed by Marwan Aljasmi. It measures your device and network, runs diagnostics, and provides developer tools entirely on-device. Privacy inquiries: contact@nexudo.tech
Data we collect
None. Pulse has no sign-up, no user accounts, no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no crash-reporting services.
The app contains no tracking across apps or websites, operates no servers, and maintains no user database.
Permissions
Permissions are requested only when opening relevant tools:
- Location: Wi-Fi network reading and GPS sensor testing; stays on-device
- Motion Sensors: accelerometer and gyroscope testing; live-only display
- Camera: QR code scanning with on-device decoding
- Microphone: ambient sound level measurement; no audio recording
- Bluetooth: local device scanning via BLE explorer
- Face ID: optional app and SSH key protection
- Local Network: LAN scanning and Bonjour service discovery
- NFC: tag reading and writing on-device
When Pulse uses the internet
A few tools do reach the internet, but every one of them is something you start by hand, and none of them ever send anything about you to us.
- Speed Test: Cloudflare/Hetzner CDN endpoints (manual activation only)
- Public IP Lookup: ipify, ipinfo, Cloudflare services (consent required)
- API Request Tool: developer tool for user-specified URLs
- SSH & SFTP: user-configured servers; credentials stored in iOS Keychain
- App Name Lookup: iTunes.apple.com for App Privacy Report imports
Data stored on your device
- SSH credentials in iOS Keychain (system-encrypted)
- Monitoring history in local app database
- Imported App Privacy Report data and SSH session history
- Widget snapshots in shared container
- User settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device. The one exception is the Keychain: if you have turned on iCloud Keychain, iOS may sync your SSH credentials across your own Apple devices, end-to-end encrypted, where only you can read them.
Data deletion
- Delete individual items within relevant tools
- Uninstalling Pulse removes the local database and Keychain items
- Manage synced iCloud Keychain credentials via iOS Settings
Third parties
Pulse contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking code. The dartssh2 library implements the SSH/SFTP protocols, connecting only to the servers you configure.
Children
Pulse is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights over the personal data an organization holds about you. We hold none.
Changes to this policy
Future policy updates will be reflected in app updates before release, with material changes noted in the release notes.
